Patrick Sheather is a deadbeat!

I want to warn the world not to lend Patrick Sheather of Hawaii any money. He came to me pretending to be a Christian brother in need of $5,200 to meet a crisis. I loaned him $5,200 that was intended for a savings bond for my daughter's college fund. That was in 1989. He told me he would pay me back in two months. My daughter was three years old. Two months came and went, Then six months. Then a year. Attempts and pleas to recover re-payment were met with refusals without any remorse. I found out also that he stiffed many other guys but not as big a loan as mine. It is now August, 2007 and I have given up. My daughter is in her second year of college now with a credit card loan for her tuition. I want the world to know what a deadbeat and unethical person he is. I hope search engines for loan companies or human resource departments hit on this blog. That will be my satisfication.

If any person has the same name this is the Patrick Sheather who lived in Honolulu. In the 1980s he took over his father's private investigation business - Sheather and Sons. The business was located on King Street. His father was a retired Deputy Chief of Honolulu Police Department. Patrick is a disgrace to his father who was an honorable man and ethical police officer. The business folded after Patrick started to run it. Patrick was in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve in Pearl Harbor in the 1960s. If any questions regarding his identify for persons of the same name post a comment and I will verify.

I know this deadbeat. He stiffed a lot of guys in the Marine Corps Reserve. A real disgrace to the Uniform. A real leech. I think he has a relative who works at Queen's Hospital. Try to garnishee her paycheck since he's a bum who avoids collectors.

Hey Dave and Cohen how you doing old buddies? This came over the Force Recon network. This is Billy O. Yep, we all remember this deadbeat. Poor you Dave, you let his Christian heart get the best of you. Wish you had asked me about this deadbeat. Everybody in the company and the canoe paddling community got stiffed by this bum.

David,

That is a sad story for many reasons. First, a debt is a matter of honor, specially from a friend, and should be repaid even if you have to pick up aluminum cans and repay a couple of dollars a months. Secondly, I have a daughter in college that got ripped off in a rent scam deal for $3300.00 so I know how that feels. I didn't know that guy and I am glad I didn't.

PS I still remember my old HPD ID number, 720750

Guys you have got to check this out. Sheather stiffed another marine way back when. First time I heard this happened. Billy O sent my the blog site. Too bad. Good thing this deadbeat doesn't show up at annual USMC birthday. Dave, sorry to hear about this. Wish you head told us back then. We would have tarred and feathered this jerk. Take care buddy.

Hey Marines, I got this from Walter Thom, ex-Marine

Aloha braddah Dave. this is Walter, I was in your team in 1965 - remember Tommy Akana getting that mean slice on his hand during night patrol? After we crawled through all that pig shit in that farm to get to our objective? I was worried Tommy would get major infection. Sorry to hear you got stiffed by this banana. but you gotta remember he wasn't recon - he was in support, a LEG! So, what I'm saying is, he did not dishonor Force Recon because he wasn't a jumper or diver. Just a low life maggot LEG! Semper Fi

I really wish that I never came across this site because it hurts me to think that Pat is what you all say he is. I helped him do some investigative work and in return he promised to help my family and I by paying our rent. He went as far as to speak to my landlord and promised him that he would have the rent money. Needless to say I am now being faced with a letter from my landlord telling me that if my rent is not paid by Wed. of next week our lease will be terminated and we will be faced with court proceedings. I have tried and tried to contact Pat to no avail. Now I have no where to turn and soon my family and I will be out on the street. I believed that this man was our guardian angel he was so sincere.

We must be talking about two different people, because my guardian angel is yet to save us. I know he will come through.

Mr. Sheather called on July 27, 2009 after his son told him about this blog. It's been 20 years since he stiffed me. He said he would send something in the mail to resolve this issue. Today is September 24, 2009. I know it doesn't take 2 months for mail to reach Hilo from Honolulu. Guess it will be 20 years before I get the next call. A friend of his ex-wife told me he stiffed his ex-wife too and she said I wouldn't get anything even with this blog. She said "He doesn't care." I hope he didn't name his son Patrick in that case. Never ever lend money to anyone who professes to be a Christian brother folks. I learned my lesson well.

Happy New Year 2010 everybody. Remember, don't lend money to Patrick Sheather because he will stiff you.

"A fool and his money are soon parted." Where is this proverb? It fits me to a "T" - yes, the fool who loaned Patrick Sheather money because he was faking that it he was a Chrtistian brother.

I did work for this maggot back in the late 70s at his PI office on puuhale & dillingham. He said someone tried to break into his office and he needed better security by installing better lighting. He sid he had a piece in the safe...he gave me a rubber check I never got to cash. I contacted him at least 3 times and not once did he keep his word he would meet me to make good. The amount wasn't large but for what I bought with my own money and all that labor to satisfy this low life. I still have his rubber check. Anyone want his SS # just drop me a line!!!!!!I don't feel so bad now that I have company. We should all get together and form a support group in honor of this dick head!
